I'm lost in the darkness,
Numb with fear.
Frosted like the rose outside my window.
I dream of light,
Warm and inviting,
That will melt my heart.
This crying, screaming mess of petals
That have seen better days.
Wanting nothing but a smile to help it live...
Just one smile...

Rose to rose,
He saves me.
